How Did HawkB, Inc. Get Its Name?

There is an ancient story of two very different Hawks living on the same, remote island. The first hawk, Hawk A, has perfect vision and soars above the water, spots a fish from high above, and then dives to snatch it below from the island’s pond. Able to catch the best fish with ease, Hawk A chooses to only go after the biggest fish in the pond, leaving behind everything else.

The second hawk, Hawk B, on the other hand, does not have very good eyesight and when it dives, it is happy to eat whatever it can find in the pond below. As time passes, the pond eventually runs out of the best fish that had been the staple of Hawk A’s diet. Unfortunately, Hawk A was not able to adjust to the new conditions of the pond, and could no longer survive. Hawk B, who was always flexible and adaptable about what it would eat, survived, and became the only Hawk remaining on the island.
